Why NyQuil?
NyQuil is an over-the-counter medication that treats symptoms of the common cold and flu such as sneezing, sore throat, headache, minor aches and pains, fever, runny nose, and cough so you can sleep at night. -
Treating the common cold and flu
Most people will recover from the common cold and/or flu on their own. To feel better, it’s important to drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. In the meantime, over-the-counter medications can help ease your symptoms. Although Vicks products cannot cure a cold/flu, they can help you feel better. -
How can I treat a sore throat?
A sore throat can be treated with analgesics (painkillers) found in over-the-counter medications. NyQuil contains acetaminophen, a pain reliever/fever reducer than can help soothe your sore throat. Although NyQuil does not cure a sore throat, it can help you feel better.
